And why I moved from GM and Ford to Ram. While the GM and Fords may have gotten better mpg, they suffered from poor throttle response, so much so that I started shopping. Ram's throttle response/shifting was heads above the others. I will trade 1-3 mpg all day for performance., Just me.
I've got a different angle on the no-dipstick, sensor thing. For me, someone who will never own a late model vehicle without a full factory warranty, it just doesn't matter to me. Why? Because if the sensor fails to tell me there is low oil, and it blows up, it's on them.
Fair enough, didn't see that. I was looking for yearly numbers and saw the chart below that.
But even so, 23 and 24 down roughly 100K +/- from 19, 20, 21 (assuming 100K +/- for Q3/4 played out)
Thanks
Here's the link where I saw it:

I'm not a Ram basher. They are my fav at the moment.
I'm just trying to comprehend why sales are 'reported' to be down vs others. IMO, IN MY OPINION, not factual, probably because I have two of them, people I...
I have a different theory. The 24 was not selling well. IMO it was because of the etorque-only option. They had to stop the bleeding. So the big question is, will the Hurricane stop the bleeding? I'm not sure. I will buy it, but I'm not a lifer Hemi guy. I have two hemi's now (20 and 21)...
The material spec alone on the new engine is off the charts for any engine. From my experience, it is built like a drag car engine. but with production/cost issues in mind, as it should be. Yes it's small and high pressure, but It is not a passenger car engine.
I have the 33g tank as well. I just hit the low fuel light and it said 50miles left. At fillup it took 28.5 g, so assuming I get 17mpg, I would have 1.5g left at indicated 0 miles left. Now I don't know if those 1.5g left are actually usable? Just an observation.
So can the 25's A-SS be turned of permanently or not? I do not want to have to push a button every start cycle like most cars.
My 20 and 21 v8's do not have a-ss, or maybe I hit a button the first day I owned them in the menu, it's off forever, don't remember.
I'm allowed to have my reasons...
Anyone know if *** comes on these SO or HO engines, and if so, can it be deleted permanently?
This lone factor may make me to keep my 20 and 21 longer.
I didn't experience any on the Wagoneer SO I drove, or barely noticeable.
my wife's CT4 blackwing has zero, zero, zero, like the pedal is connected to the road. Reminds me of my long gone GTO Judge Ram air III.
I am only comparing to show what modern turbo's are doing relative.
Now the HO...
