yea that might be purpose behing it
my wifes asked me a few times to take it down due to it being weathered and made a rust spot on the wood behind it . its on my honey do list this summer
quick google search i found this ( WE ARE NOT SWINGERS :ROFLMAO: )...
I forgot to add that to my list I had the water pump changes at 90-92k some where in that area.
To add to that I went ahead and did new tensioners, pulleys and belt for preventive maintenance.
Correct me if I’m wrong but autozone or orielys and advance can all read and erase soft codes.
You can also but a cheap one reader and do it yourself. Or try the negative terminal first.
I’ve got 96k on the 5.7non-ET
Only issues so far since I got it 20k ago
•exhaust manifolds (broke studs)
•leaking trans cooler lines
•worn front sway bar bushings
•worn front sway bar links
•passenger side headlight accent brow
•dash bubbles (2)
•terrible mpg
Shop around and get something different. Everyone and their mom have these methods. You said you were building a “in your face” off-road vehicle right??
