I've had it on order from my local dealer for about six weeks now and it's supposed to be in sometime in June. I'm not holding my breath though as it seems to be backordered everywhere. Very annoying that it's so difficult to obtain.
By request...Bakflip MX4 on my 2024 Limited with Rambox and MFT...
The installation was pretty easy... spent more time changing the bed rails (black to silver) than installing the actual cover. Loving the upgrade in looks and functionality over the Mopar soft tonneau though!
No pictures to share, but I removed my factory soft tonneau cover today, swapped bed rails (black to silver) and installed the BakFlip MX4. It looks great, seems to work well so far, and is a really nice upgrade over the Mopar cover. That said, the Mopar cover was nicer than I expected, but I...
I purchased from Koons in the fall. At that time, their deal was an additional 1.5% off invoice price for Tread Lightly members. While their doc fee is higher, it was balanced out in my case by a slightly larger discount than offered by MD...and it was much cheaper/easier to get my truck home to...
Rear passengers have to do it themselves...no control from the front unless you reach behind the center console and push the buttons yourself (which I've learned to do for my kids).
The Audi Q7 that I drove before my Ram let you unlock from the rear doors and I find mysterious constantly trying to do it on my truck out of habit. I have Ramboxes and it's annoying to walk up to the truck from behind and realize the Rambox is locked, then have to take an extra couple steps to...
Very dependent on your trim level and driving style. My V8 Limited, driven mostly at 75-80mph on the highway, only gets 16mpg. Heavy and fast are not a good combination for gas mileage.
The payload on my pretty much fully loaded Limited (RamBox, MFT, sunroof) is only 929#... definitely not adequate if you need to do much towing or heavy hauling. You have to be very aware of your intended use when buying a Limited. The low payload is fine in my case because I don't intend to tow...
I just sold my 2018 Q7 Prestige and switched to a Granite 2024 Night Edition Limited...don't regret my decision at all. I loved my Audi, but the Ram drives and rides so nice that I really don't miss the Q7. The only thing I miss from the Q7 is the much better 'lane keeping assist' system. My...
I went with the Weathertech Floorliner HP (front and rear) and am very happy with them so far...excellent fit and coverage. Time will tell how they hold up, but I've always been pleased with Weathertech in the past.
Volvo are weird about leaving out power tilt/telescope steering wheel as well. They claim that their manual adjustment assembly is safer than a powered version would be, so they don't include it on any model they sell. Something about the way they design the steering column to collapse on heavy...
I think it has something to do without what one expects from a 'ventilated' seat. Neither my previous Audi or the Ram are actually tied into the AC system to move cooled air. What most people expect is cold AC air blowing up from the seat, and that's just not how it works. All they do is...
I just had the high-impact areas of my truck (front bumper, grill, front portion of hood, mirrors, door handle insets) done at a place in central CT for $1600. I also had him tint the front windows to match the rear for another $200. He uses all Xpel products and did a great job... can't tell...
