My dealer contacted me yesterday that they got approval to order a new sensor so now it's just waiting until it gets in to try swapping that out.

Shove a dark pc of cardboard over the headlight sensor (I used the sirius xm brochure). I'm probably up to 10-12 hours of driving and so far not a single pop up when it's covered. I'll be on the road for another 6 tomorrow and expect similar results.

Got in some more drive time today when it is sunny out and had the same results. Driving with the sensor covered stops the pop up. Local dealer is going to see if they have the sensor in stock and if not get one on order to try swapping that out.

Yep when I cover the sensor and put the truck into drive the headlights come on. If I pull the cover off while driving (during the daytime) the headlight indicator on the dash goes off (and I assume the headlights do as well). Either way I drove for about 3 hours yesterday with the sensor...

Interesting, I was thinking that it changed when the interior temp changed so I was trying to open / shut windows etc while driving but that wasn't it. I have some local roads I will be on later today that have good temp swings (along rivers etc) so I will watch for the ext temp connection.

Mine looks like the picture above where the pop up blocks the entire lower third of the screen. Hell the small pop up is irritating but I would at least be able to end a call or see the navigation (turns, intersections etc)
