How are you doing it? I can filter on Limiteds, and then sort by cost (high to low). But when I see $89k, I don't know what options it has. The window sticker isn't available. How do you now if it has the Level A?
Ditto on being PO'd. Crazy business model they have.... there are customers ready and willing to spend serious money on high end trucks, and they keep us at arm's length. I really don't see the downside to at least a little open communication.
I want (wanted) the Ram. But I'm using a loaner...
I couldn’t agree more. It’s been over six months since the reveal, when they said availability in 1Q24. We’re on the downside of 2Q and still have many restrictions.
I wonder what the 2Q sales numbers will look like. And what excuses they’ll give.
The lack of communication is what bothers me...
Thanks again for putting this together. It's excellent data! I thought the scheduled downtime was the last two weeks, and they are back to work this week? I hope I wasn't off a month.
Since we've got nothing else to do..... any thoughts on the Night Edition for the Tungsten? Personally I'd like it. That article makes a decent point. We've got nothing else to do but hope.
It's really strange. Like I said, I sat with the parts mgr and went through the system. One of the older, more experienced mechanics joined us and we tried to check newer parts and x-ref anything we could. it would amaze me if they started to produce it again. Whatever - it was a PITA back then.
That is.... infuriating. I have printouts from last Fall when I went through this that showed all the parts, and the LCA being discontinued. I stood with the parts manager and he showed me in their system at the time. I had him print it out, and I kept it. Then we had to go back and forth...
I talked to the parts manager many times… as I got to know most of them quite well. He showed me many different parts - all the way up to 2017 models, that have been discontinued.
The Mopar warranty people WILL NOT talk to customers. Period. Only dealers. So the “miscommunication “ that goes...
I'm very lucky that I moved back near my parents a few years ago to help them as they get older. My dad has a 2010 Dodge 3500 that he doesn't drive anymore, so I drive that. They're happy to see it being used.
I used to think something similar with my 2014 Laramie, with Lifetime MaxCare (a "mistake" Mopar will likely never make again). I thought I'd drive that truck into the ground. $100 each time I had to fix something sounds great. In the last couple of years, the truck has spent MONTHS sitting...
I hope you're wrong on that, too! For the Tungsten, it's supposed to be an issue with wheel availability. I can't find anything about this anywhere online, but I trust Anthony. I really don't know anything about the Level A issues for Limited. I just started trying to dig into that, b/c I...
Somewhere around April 24th - it is restricted for ordering. The dealers cannot place an order for it. Much like the Level A group on the Limited. And the Forged Blue Metallic and Steel Storm colors.
