I don't mean to be disrespectful or, engage in an ongoing useless debate over useless topics.
What does any of this have to do with a 2025 1500 with a Hurricane engine??
Some of us have bought the 2025 and some of us are looking at buying it, there are 93 pages on this thread and 80 pages are...
Agree - 20 or 50 mile round trip is meaningless.
topping off the tank after 30 seconds is meaningless also!
I like TFL, and watch 90% of their shows in the past 5 years. - however, their gas mileage test is a useless gimmick at best. Most businesses are trying to justify their existence and...
Never mind guys, after investigation and calls to RAM. The correct trailer brake controller for 2025 has not been released yet.
the correct part is: 82219240AA
They say in 2 months
Thank you
If yes, do you have a rear reclining seat?
You should be able to drop the rear seatbacks (at least that was a feature on my 2019 Laramie).
I need a great favor to ask.
Please see my issue below...
Update --
My dealers' service manager called me a minute ago and told me that based on RAM, at this point there is no solution for the "sold" RAMs with no trailer brake controller.
If any of you have an actual validated/verified part number/solution for a 2025 1500 brake controller, I would...
I did - called the CSM
EDIT: if the 3 dealers I have gone to for adding a trailer brake controller to my 25 RAM have no clue about the wiring, part, or location, how would an aftermarket vendor have a clue about a plug-in to an entirely different Canbus architecture at this point?
Based on the...
Well folks - another important public service announcement.
If you are going to order/buy a 2025, make sure that you order the trailer controller from the factory. It is a $290 option.
At this point, dealers have no clue about adding this.
Mine did not come with one, I did order the controller...
Well Jimmy, you are correct.
Went to my dealer this morning (I printed the diagram you posted above) to show them.
Bottom line, the dealer has no clue what the correct trailer brake controller part is - let alone the location.
they did validate that there are no wires for the controller under...
Same gear ratio (3.92) 33 gal fuel tank. I don't know if the new engine weighs more or less than the Hemi.
I have same add-on options. No leather, 12in screen and few other amenities on my 25 VS. 2019
I will post another update since I am back in town and the rest of the tank will be used on stop and go traffic.
On my Hemi I always filled up the tank in Haber, usually got an average of 21MPG coming down to Tempe, then the rest of the tank was used in city driving.
The end result was a drop...
No dunes - I love the forest trail road trails around my cabin and, of course anywhere in UT is the ultimate offroad heaven.
I ride my sport touring bikes all over UT, and, then off-road in Moab, Kanab, Bryce Canyon, around Zion, sand hallo, etc.
Will let you guys know when I tow my trailer/SXS to Kanab UT in a couple of months.
Attached is a pic. from my old Hemi - roughly 6500LB
I averaged 12MPG driving from Overgaard to Kanab / Bryce Canyon round trip
So far I did get a better mileage uphill based on 5 year run from Tempe to Heber/Overgaard with my 2019 Hemi !!!!--- results are hand-calculated!
Folks - this is a new engine - Hemi is sadly dead, I would happily buy a 2024 with Hemi, none of the dealers in my area had a Laramie or even a...
Just to consolidate the list of dislikes/likes so far:
1- Many delares and all online Mopar parts distributors do not have the 2025 listed yet,
* Ordered the bed step and it did not fit
* No rear mud flaps from Weathertech / dealers, ordered the front mud flaps from Husky, and they fit...
