Go into your radio, you can change it from instant to 30 seconds, 10 minutes etc.
It shuts off as soon as you open the door though.
Where in the radio settings can you change the times? I have a 19 and have never found where the timing can be changed. Maybe not programmable on a 19. Asking...
It's well known that some of the 19's have some AC problems. Most of it concerns the linkage to the blend door in the plenum. It doesn't close and lets the hot air mix with the cold air, does not cool the truck very well. The TSB is to tear out the entire dash to get to the plenum and change...
What is the date of manufacture for your truck? Tell us little more about what you are driving.
Some of the earlier builds, the AC is less than desirable.
I watch the left rear wheel and the rear corner of the bed. Glance at the right mirror to make sure the clearance is there. As long as the space is reasonably big enough, the left side will take care of the right side. The surround camera helps give you the overview, but the nitty gritty is...
It just takes a bit of time to learn where the front and rear bumpers are. Backing in is easier, the mirrors won't lie to you. When I got the truck I tried backing with the trucks surround camera's, never going to do for me. Except, when picking up the trailers, I can put the ball exactly...
I chased a similar sound like that in an 02 Trailblazer I had. Turned out it came from the spare tire hanging in the back. ALL tires loose air over time. As it lost air it shrank in size and there for not tight up against the body. What I heard was the tire bouncing around on the hanger...
Just a hail Mary to consider. Are the sensors in the bumpers clean? At highway speeds, they can get plugged up with bugs and such. Car wash may not be enough, have to hand clean them. Is their a crack in the windshield near the sensor in front of the mirror. In our Maxima when the front end...
That's what I had on my 09 Silverado, it was OK for what I was doing with it. I went into the fields once in awhile but nothing serious as in off roading. It kept most of the crap off the front of the engine. Didn't get in the way of oil changes and such.
Instead of ABS why not use acrylic...
After some thought and a discussion with the body shop I have used for years when I need one, I did seal the top of my rear window with some flowable caulk. The truck was out of the 3 year warranty when I did it. Then shortly after, I saw where the warranty was extended for this problem for...
In older houses sometimes the line between the foundation and sill plate wasn't very tight. It allowed mice to get in the winter. I stuffed the gaps with course steel wool from the outside and then foamed from the inside. They won't chew on the steel wool. Maybe you can wrap the hose in...
Intermittent troubles like you describe are a nightmare. I know I had a truck like that. Turns out it was a bad ground on the frame from the fuse box mounted on the driver's side wheel well. It had it's own ground. You might consider checking your grounding points. I have read a couple of...
What about the NOCO charger's. I use a 5 amp charger once a month on both the car and truck batteries to keep them fully charged. Small town living, lots of short drives. What got my attention was they seem to be an all in one charger. Regular acid battery, AGM, Lithium. They are said to...
How old is the battery? Is it still good. A bad cell in the battery can cause mischief.
Check to make sure all of your grounds are good. There are several along each fender in the engine bay.
Pull the top off of the fuse box. I have read of a couple posts where the main terminal connections...
Both cowl drains and AC drain are draining. Poured a couple bucks of water down the windshield, watched it run out behind the mud flaps. A little heavier out the driver's side, but these trucks lean that way a little anyway. Went back thru the car wash and pulled the cabin filter, it's dry...
I've got 2, 1/2 inch breaker bars, long ones, with a short extension and the right size deep wall impact socket for the lug nuts on each car and truck. I carry one 1 in each vehicle all the time. They make short work of a stubborn lug nut, are not battery dependent. Money well spent and much...
