Here’s another reason to question your decision. Watch a dude from the TRX forum beat a Raptor R twice in Baja races.

Thread 'TRX vs. Raptor R...On the terrain they were actually built for.'
TRX vs. Raptor R...On the terrain they were actually built for.
Fun vids, but those don't make me question my decision. I don't live anywhere close to where I would drive a truck in that environment. Here in the Ohio, I would be more apt to enjoy the woods or a field like in Hammond's vid. And, I just like to go fast ;)

I;'m not far from sand dunes, but I just can't get myself to hit the sand. I just feel like its gonna get everywhere and even a hose down from the underside is still gonna leave little sand debris all over everything. Maybe as I own the truck longer I will get a bit more brave on the dunes. I certainly don't have the balls to jump the thing lol.

If you are not going to go off-road why don't you just put a supercharger in your 5.7?
The TRX has too much offroad things to be compared to a muscle car for it's price point imo.
This is exactly why I purchased a Procharger for my Ram.

I love the TRX, but I could have 2 night edition bighorns Procharged for the price of one TRX. Dealing with 12 mpg compared to 19 mpg doesn't make sense for me, especially running 93.
