I agree, they are not technical or customer service oriented, that's exactly my point. Why do they (@RamCares) chime in with pleasantries and insincere offers of assistance only to leave you hanging . That's not effective social media engagement and poor brand management. They could just a easily monitor the forum for member feedback and report back to their technical and operations teams.This. We all know exactly what these people are and I don’t even expect them to be technical. Clearly they are not working with anyone who actually has information and over the past 2 years I’ve heard “an update is coming soon” about a dozen times and have received 1 (a few years ago at this point). If not for the forum members sharing update files I wouldn’t even have a working radio.
The members of this forum are great, specially you CaptainIf not for the forum members sharing update files I wouldn’t even have a working....
UC5. Currently on S26.18Do you have UC5 or UC4?
I guess a truck signature would help decipher what you have. How long has UC5 been out again?UC5. Currently on S26.18
Beginning of the 2022 model year. So September 2021. Yeah, almost 2 years…I guess a truck signature would help decipher what you have. How long has UC5 been out again?
I was going down the rabbit hole of questioning his update time frames of a couple years and a few years.Beginning of the 2022 model year. So September 2021. Yeah, almost 2 years…
I have a Durango Hellcat so it was in 2020/2021 for us. The update files are all the same (thankfully) as Dodge has only provided R17.99 to us over the air and we see no signs of getting any new updates since R17.99 is from September 2021. The only reason I am on S26.18 (available December 2022) is USB updates provided from you guys.I guess a truck signature would help decipher what you have. How long has UC5 been out again?
My bad for not knowing you were talking about a Dodge Durango.....I have a Durango Hellcat so it was in 2020/2021 for us. In short I am a month early so it’s fair that “years” isn’t entirely accurate. It’s been 1 year and 11 months.
Totally my fault no way you would have known. My bad for not knowing you were talking about a Dodge Durango.....
I am also trying to find the MY22.S26.17-PROD zip so I can go back to what works! If they can't be bothered to do a patch, they can at least GIVE ME BACK THE OPTIONS I PAID FOR. I hope some one with the files will respond.Anyone happen to have the USB zip?
Thank BTW that is a huge help.

Yep. Unfortunately they don’t let you downgrade. Can’t go backwards.
@Jimmy07 and s8er01z: Thanks for the replies. Do you know if a factory reset will re-install the software that originally came with the system (from factory) or will it just wipe out custom profile settings and possibly dealer installed options? The threads involving a hard reset seem to mention, or imply, all the above. Can’t go backwards.
Factory reset just means it wipes everything out. It would not change firmware that's not what a factory reset does.@Jimmy07 and s8er01z: Thanks for the replies. It didn’t make sense that there would be a full backup of the original software but I was hopeful. Thanks!Factory reset just means it wipes everything out. It would not change firmware that's not what a factory reset does.
Yeah the only way back is a new radio. It didn’t make sense that there would be a full backup of the original software but I was hopeful. Thanks!
Actually, an "old" radio, new to the truck would likely be it.Yeah the only way back is a new radio.
Until it updates itself automatically and you're back at the same point.Actually, an "old" radio, new to the truck would likely be it.
I recently took my 23' Laramie to the dealer to have power running boards installed. Yesterday I noticed that my coolant temp, oil pressure & oil temp gauges in the Uconnect 12 trailer tow screen don't work anymore. Trailer brake is still working, and all of these had worked prior to going in for the power running boards.I’m currently running 26.15 and my coolant temp, oil pressure ,and oil temp gauges won’t work. I was hoping this might fix it.
I need to know why the gauge widget does not display the information, only sometimes it does, and sometimes it’s not all of them, but most of the time it displays no information, what the hell? Also, if you choose a smaller widget and select gauges, it only has two, not all four, how do you display more of them in the smaller widget?
