So I have a more generic question: if you have never done this before, how can you determine what the best size tire is that will fill the wheel wells, but will not rub? I've scoured these threads and it's all over the place. For instance, some people say a 35x12.5 on the stock rim doesn't rub, others say it does. I think I'm more concerned for contact with the UCA. I feel like I only have one shot at this, since I can't have a tire mounted, then if it doesnt work out, have a new one remounted. Is there a tire calculator out there that you can input some variables and it spits out the best sized tire?
From what I have seen so far, P295/65/20 or P295/60/20 seem to be the best. I'd like to keep the truck in the pristine condition, so I don't want to spend time bending and trimming wheel wells.
For the specs, I'm looking to do this on the stock Bighorn 20x9 wheels with the 19.05 offset. The lift is going on this week and is the Mopar 2" lift with the front ORP spring conversion. Thanks for all your help!
